Swedish Ambassador to the Republic of Croatia, Anna Boda, recently visited our social enterprise Humana Nova in Čakovec. Our HR Manager Karolina Kraljić and CEO Ivan Božić hosted the visit.
During the visit, Ambassador Boda toured our production facility, sorting center, and second-hand shop located at our headquarters.
We introduced Mrs. Boda to our work in the field of circular economy, sustainable textile production, and inclusive employment of vulnerable groups. We talked about the challenges of the textile sector, why sustainable business models are important, and how social enterprises create a positive impact on society and environment. We also touched on our cooperation with Swedish-owned companies, such as IKEA and Ericsson Nikola Tesla.
At the end of the visit, Ambassador Boda invited us to the celebration of Sweden's National Day, which will take place in Zagreb on June 9th. We are looking forward to joining the occasion and meeting with the Swedish business community.
