Humana Nova entered the INA Green Belt 2026 program alongside a partner afforestation project. The program is one of the longest-running initiatives for environmental protection and local community development in Croatia. Ten projects were selected for co-financing within the program.
Our partner project - Humana Nova's Green Trail - focuses on restoring a degraded area by planting 150 trees. Additionally, 3,000 seed bombs will be dispersed by drones in hard-to-reach areas. Beyond the greening, we will host educational workshops on sustainable development. Our aim is to get locals, kids, volunteers, and our own team involved in these activities.
We are working on this project with the eco-startup Magic Forest. They specialize in smart, tech-driven afforestation and forest ecosystem restoration. They are best known for Project O2, which uses drones to speed up planting in destroyed or hard-to-reach areas.

The plaques for the winners of the INA Green Belt 2026 program were awarded in Zagreb on May 25, symbolically marking the start of the implementation phase.
The Green Belt program focuses on greening local areas, adapting to climate change, and involving local communities in environmental protection activities.
At the plaque award ceremony, Humana Nova was represented by our HR manager Karolina Kraljić, project expert Andrea Vuković Buljan and CEO Ivan Božić.
