We promote the employment of people with disabilities and other socially excluded individuals through a model based on textile waste management, as well as the production and sale of high-quality, innovative textile products made from ecological and recycled materials for domestic and international markets. We contribute to the sustainable development of the local community, poverty reduction, and nature conservation.
We are a leader in social entrepreneurship, recognized in the broader region. Our cooperative actively contributes to building a society of tolerance and cooperation, helping socially excluded individuals and their families improve their self-confidence and quality of life.
The social cooperative Humana Nova is a social enterprise operating in three areas: environmental, social, and economic. Our team consists of 56 employees, including 33 people with disabilities and 20 individuals from other marginalized groups.
The positive social, ecological, and economic impact is our contribution to the community.
We believe it is possible to include people with disabilities and individuals from other marginalized groups in the workforce, lifting them from the brink of poverty. We also believe it is possible to responsibly manage textile waste, save resources, and produce new textile items in a sustainable way.
Through social entrepreneurship, cooperativism, labor integration, a circular model of textile waste management, and sustainable production, we empower marginalized individuals who create value in the community through their work.
We create socially and ecologically responsible textile products, provide textile disposal services, and organize creative workshops on textile recycling. Through these activities, we employ people with disabilities and other socially excluded individuals.
